Wake up different!
A hotel room in a field, surrounded by horses, valleys, mountains and the sea!! The perfect get away! Dogs Welcome!
Celaeron Glamping is set within Celaeron equestrian centre’s grounds, yet you will feel like you are in your own little piece of paradise, with views down the Aeron Valley and the back drop of the Cambrian mountains in one direction, to Snowdonia in the other. You really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere – yet you are only 2 miles from the beautiful harbour town of Aberaeron.
The site is surrounded by our beautiful small breeding herd of sport horses – every year we have at least 1 foal born! You can sit and watch them frolicking in the sunshine!
The aspect of the field means that you get to see the most amazing sunrises over the valley, then stunning sunsets over the coast. At night the skies are huge – millions of stars, minimal light pollution, the Milky Way is a sight to behold and no matter how hard we try we cannot get pictures that do it justice!
Along with the domesticated animals, we also have an abundance of wildlife.
We have 3 breeding pairs of Red Kites, Buzzards, owls, sparrow hawks, foxes, rabbits, polecats and an array of small bird species.
It doesn’t matter how many times in the day we see the kites, we just can’t help stopping to watch them – they are just beautiful!
The Pods – Melody, Montana, Madison and Ember (the names come from Melody being Kelly’s first horse who then started the breeding herd, so was only fitting that she should start this new venture! Her daughter was Montana, granddaughter Madison, and great granddaughter Ember).
Outside your pod is your own seating area (recycled pallets!) with a fire pit to keep you warm, you will be provided with a bag of logs, if you require more they are available at an extra cost of £5. You also have your own gas BBQ with side burner, all tools provided.
There are 2 shower/toilet rooms that are very spacious. The showers are the very large walk in type, so anyone with smaller children has plenty of space to help them! Lots of hot water!!
Well behaved dogs are welcome, maximum of 2 per pod, they must be fully house trained and not left in the pods on their own. If your dog likes to sleep on the bed/sofa then we ask that you bring your own dog throws/blankets, and if your dog is super snuggly and likes to get under the covers, that you bring your own bed linen! They can play loose in the field (2 acres) but must be kept on a lead everywhere else on the property due to the local livestock and wildlife. We have our own dogs, so must be friendly too!!
Have older children? Why not let them stay in their own space outside and bring a small tent, they can be right outside your door! Contact us to ask about it!
No smoking except outside.
Things to do – sit back and chill, visit our local beaches and coves, walk the coastal path, mountain walks, cycling, dolphin and seal spotting, fishing (sea and lake), national trust property Llanerchaeron is a mile away and lots, lots more….
Unfortunately we cannot offer riding lessons here, unless you wish to bring your own horse (we have stabling, individual paddocks, indoor and outdoor school! Please contact us for pricing). But should you wish to go pony trekking there is a local stables that we can put you in touch with.
Drive into the Glamping field and parking next to your pod (if ground is soft there is a parking area a very short walk from your pod)
We live onsite, we will always come and say hi, and if there is anything you want just ask! We will also give you our mobile numbers in case you can’t find us!
