If nature and exploring the big outdoors is your ideal holiday, then you are looking in the right place!

The county of Ceredigion is a beautiful and unspoilt  part of Wales.  From mountains to the coast, there is something that everyone will enjoy exploring.
You can walk, cycle, do watersports, fish, swim, watch dolphins and seals, look for otters – just some ideas to get you started!  We have 2 kayaks here that are available to hire too!

The Wales Coast Path runs 870 miles around the coast of Wales, 60 miles of that is within Ceredigion with probably the most varied landscape and terrain of the route. As well as great views north towards Snowdonia and south towards Pembrokeshire, the Ceredigion Coast path has an abundance of wildlife, geological and archaeological features and a colourful history to discover along the way.

Inland you will find the Cambrian Mountains, one of the few remote wilderness areas left in Southern Britain. There are only a few roads across the mountains, but are some of the most scenic routes in Britain. Why not start your holiday early, and instead of driving here using the most direct route, take a tour of this wonderful area – or maybe that is the thing to do on your way home – one last look at our amazing landscapes!

As well as being able to walk parts of the coastal path, there are numerous beaches and small coves, with the best of them being from Aberaeron (2 miles from the site) and going south to Cardigan – so within a half hour drive there are at least 11 beaches you can visit – and we can tell you the best places to spot dolphins, porpoises and seals without having to get on a boat!!  If you do want to get on a boat to go Dolphin watching, there are some excellent tour provider in the area that we can put you in touch with.

To find out more about what you can do in the area, we suggest you visit the website www.discoverceredigion.wales  where you will find everything you need to know to plan your visit!
