Reconnect
What we should say is disconnect to reconnect!
There is no Wi-Fi onsite (however if you do feel the need to ‘check-in’ there is a very strong 4G signal – but if you want to tell your children there is no signal, we are happy to go along with it!)
There are no TV’s in the pods, this is your time to switch off from technology and reconnect with the here and now. Whether that is sitting back and doing nothing except watch the world go by and read a book, or something more exciting like hiring our kayaks, or climbing a mountain.
We are all guilty of not taking in our surroundings at times, and relying on technology for our ‘experiences’ – this is your chance to go back to a simpler time, where ‘experiences’ happen for real!
The family games that happen in the glamping meadow are a testimony to that – with every age range getting together for an impromptu game of football, cricket or rounders, whole ‘sport days’ have happened, or the ultimate hide and seek in the wilding grass, without a device in sight!
