This is Oddjob, or Oddie to his friends! He is 27 this year, the smallest horse on the yard – with the biggest attitude! This is where we found him, happily climbing up the bank and munching the grass – to get there he got through the electric dividing fence, into the field next door and out through the open gate, it is true what they say – the grass is always greener on the other side!

His poor friend, Lauder – another elder statesman – alerted us to Oddie’s misdemeanour by shouting very loudly whilst stomping up and down the fence line (he is way too big to sneak under a fence), so Oddie only got to enjoy 10 minutes of freedom, but he reckons it was worth it for that yummy, untouched grass!
