Reconnect, rediscover, relax, laugh, enjoy ……… wake up different!

With each pod set apart from the rest, you will have your own private space – and a whole field to explore and play in!

Take the children back to your childhood, where you talked face to face, played outside – whatever the weather, used your imagination and got a bit dirty! Kick that ball about, play cricket or rounders (we have a box of play equipment, but feel free to bring your own!) play hide and seek in the meadow grass, chase butterflies, watch the crickets, do one of our scavenger hunts, talk to the horses then settle down for a family meal, either outside your pod where you have your own barbeque and firepit, or head over to the covered seating area with huge tables to fit everyone around.  There is also a kitchen with seating if the weather has got a bit too ‘Welsh’! 

Go to the beach, watch the dolphins (grab fish and chips in Newquay, sit on the pier and see if you can spot them), swim in the sea – or maybe you would like to try kayaking (we have two for hire).  Bring your bikes and go for a ride – the choice is endless.

There is no Wi-Fi here – however we do have a very strong 4G signal, but we are happy to go along with you if you tell the children there is no service for their devices! There are no TV’s – it always amazes us how quickly children embrace the lack of technology, and get on with the important business of amusing themselves (parents too!) 

Grab the throws out at night, switch the lights off, lay back and count the stars, shooting stars and satellites.  Of course dogs are often part of the family too, and they are most welcome!

There is only one entrance to the glamping field, so you can let your children have their freedom, whilst you are safe in the knowledge that they cannot go very far.

Melody, Montana and Madison pod have a double bed with cotton bed linen, squidgy pillows and throws to snuggle up in. The sofas are daybeds which change to either 1 or 2 single beds in seconds – you tell us how many you need, and they will be made up for you, all you have to do is take off the throw, pull the underneath bed out and take out the duvets that are cleverly hidden in the pillowcases that form the backrest when in sofa mode!  We have a travel cot should you require it for the younger children.

The fourth pod along,  Ember, has a beautiful four-poster bed and a leather sofa bed, this folds out into a small double bed, so is more suited to families with only one older child, or two younger children that are happy to share.

If you have older children, who don’t think it is cool to share a room with their parents, they can have their own adventure, we welcome small tents that can be put right outside your pod – super safe and close, but their own space!

Bigger groups of family and friends – grab them all together and have multiple pods, if there are enough of you have the whole site for exclusive use – this has proven to be very popular! Where else can you go with upto 16 of your family and friends, have your own private space, and an entire field to yourselves to get together? This was the main reason for building the covered seating area and installing a huge barbeque – family time is very important!

Your pod has underfloor heating for when the nights are a bit chilly, there is a fridge that will be stocked with local fresh milk and water, a kettle with complimentary tea/coffee/hot chocolate and sugar, and all the cooking utensils and crockery you will need for your barbeque and firepit. Fresh flowers add the finishing touch.

Outside each pod is a seating area with a firepit, table and gas barbeque – with unrivalled views, peace and quiet.

Let us know, we offer extra packages for birthdays and other special occasions.  We have had birthdays from young children all the way up to a 70th – we have various bunting that can be used to decorate the pod, balloons, and have a wonderful local cake maker that will have cupcakes made, in the colours of your choice, waiting here for your arrival.
